When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected using a cookie. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar. This is exclusively information which does not allow conclusions to be drawn about your personal identity.

This information is required from a technical perspective to correctly deliver the content from websites requested by you and is absolutely essential when using the Internet. It is primarily processed for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring problem-free connection to the website,

  • Ensuring smooth use of our website,

  • Evaluating the security and stability of the system as well as

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest from the aforementioned purposes for data collection. Anonymous information of this type may be statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our website and the underlying technology.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard disk. This automatically provides us with certain data such as the IP address, the browser, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or to transmit viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in the cookies we can make navigation easier for you and ensure our web pages are correctly displayed.

The data collected by us will not, under any circumstances, be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are set to accept cookies by default. In general, you can always disable the use of cookies through your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that some features of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.

SSL encryption

In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Contact form

If you contact us regarding any questions via email or a contact form, you voluntarily give us your consent for the purpose of making contacting. You need to specify a valid email address for this purpose. This is used to assign the request and then reply to it. The specification of further data is optional. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. After your request has been processed, your personal data will be automatically deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter referred to as: Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer, to analyse how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other countries that are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operating company of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operating company with further services associated with website and Internet use. The IP address sent by your browser in conjunction with Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

The purposes of data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Other related services will then be provided based on the use of the website and the Internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operating company.

You may disable the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however, please note that, if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser plug-in to disable Google Analytics.

In addition, or as an alternative, to the browser plug-in, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will then be installed on your device. This will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and for this browser in the future for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to present our contents correctly and in a graphically appealing manner on all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid loading them repeatedly. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in the default font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operating company. In theory, it is possible – but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – the operating companies of corresponding libraries collect data.

The data protection guidelines of the library operating company Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. You can find more information about Google's data processing in the Google Privacy Policy. You can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Centre.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

Some of our web pages have embedded YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operating company of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube will be informed about the pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can track your surfing behaviour. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google-Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider's data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Changes to our data protection regulations

We reserve the right to revise this data protection declaration so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes in our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply when you next visit our site.
